The traditional scratch awl is a timeless tool that will always be needed in cabinet-making, carpentry, boat-building, etc. Put to good use to lay out markings and lines, or to enlarge holes in woods or plastics. We have found our small version very useful on doll house work, and on the model pond yachts, with the many planks so carefully measured, you get the idea.
