The Minitech Mini-Mill/1 series CNC mills are Minitech's most economical mills. These are a large step up from the Taig and Sherline CNC conversions, and would be a good starting point for any miniature machine shop, trade school, or university. The Minitech Mini-Mill/1 is a precision machined 3 axis CNC machine using dual linear slides for each axis, permanently lubricated spindle bearings, adjustable preload anti-backlash lead screws on the X, Y, and Z axis, and many other features normally found only on commercial machines. Pictured below, is a Mini-Mill/1 outfitted with a 4th axis and an NSK spindle.
