Replications can be made of any missing or broken corresponding miniature hardware, and are usually produced within. If requested, we can literally transform a new casting, and send it back in time, matching the existing patina of remaining antique parts using special chemicals and skilled handiwork... We will take the repaired areas, and carefully match our pigments over three different lighting environments: Daylight, incandescent, and fluorescent. The repaired areas should show the same sheen or reflection of light as the antique, non-repaired areas. We've used this technique on $10 toy soldiers, to $12,000 cast iron toys & banks with excellent success.

Regardless of subject, and because of the quality of our craft, it has been deemed necessary for us to adopt a strict code of ethics in which we do not condone any work commissioned to us that could be used for resale of fraudulent antiques, or resale of repaired antiques done at our shop in which the repaired or restored antique could be sold as completely original. Please do not ask us to repair anything you wish to sell later as completely original, we humbly request that you state in your sale that the item has been repaired or restored professionally.
